~ Characters ~
Violet DeSane
A self-proclaimed hopeless romantic; melancholy and deep. Violet enjoys graveyards, writing poetry and painting things black. She considers herself an artist misunderstood by the world and refuses to be held back by anything as trivial as a lack of talent.
|
Death
A thin guy with a love for archaic farm equipment. Accidentally summoned by Violet by being so stereotypically goth he thought she was dead, Death exists in a near constant sate of bemusement at humans and their ways. Having had little contact with people that were pleased to see him he finds Violet and her amorous intentions towards him disconcerting at best. The only person Death considers remotely sane is Poe.
|
Poe
Violet’s pet cat. Quite probably insane. Poe hates people, especially when they treat him like a pet. He plots tirelessly to destroy humanity by any means necessary and sees Death as a potential ally, given his infamous job. Poe views Violet with distain, but plays up to her as no one else is going to change his litter tray. If not the most stable personality, Poe is certainly the most intelligent (not that that says a lot).
|
Shadow
Happy go luck, light hearted and full of cheer are not phrases to associate with Shadow (not his/her – no one is quite sure which - really name, but it sounds a lot darker don’t you think?) A bit of a poser, shadow is the butt of most jokes. Maybe one day she’ll finally figure it out, but more likely he’ll just grow out of it like her parents hope.
|
E, B & M
The clubbers. Found wherever there are black lights and bleepy music. E (male) and B (female) are lovers, which means she lets him borrow her corsets. M is the reclusive rivethead, whose thick German accent is totally unintelligible, even to Germans.

~ The Creator ~
|
Some say he is eight feet tall, with red eyes and a voice that can shatter mountains. Born to a shewolf and raised by leopards, he draws comic strips between saving beautiful women, slaying dragons and knitting. Other, more sensible people, say this is bollocks and question why the first set of people were asked at all.
